A Few 2018 Updates at Both SDS & MR

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
2018 Updates at Both Silver Dollar Speedway and Marysville Raceway

Chico, CA (February 17, 2018) – The 2018 racing season is just around the corner at both Marysville Raceway and the Silver Dollar Speedway. On behalf of both race tracks we are excited to announce some recent changes for the upcoming season.
First off, you might have noticed the new, updated websites for both tracks that will allow a mobile friendly experience that automatically sizes to your handheld device. This allows our fans to get a reliable and accurate readable information in the palm of their hand.
Secondly, both pit gate prices have been lowered. Each track has reduced the non-member pit fee from $50 to $45. Member price will stay the same at $40.
There will be new incentives to race at both Silver Dollar Speedway on Friday nights and Marysville Raceway on Saturday nights. These details are currently being analyzed and we will update as soon as hey become available for public knowledge.
The big transition at Silver Dollar Speedway includes the switch from weekly 410-winged sprint cars to winged 360 sprint cars. The surplus of winged 360 sprint cars in our area was the main reason for the switch. We hope this adds more Friday night sprint cars and gives the fans a full field of cars during each championship night of racing.
With that said, the Silver Dollar Speedway will still host numerous 410-winged sprint car events, including the Bill Brownell Memorial, Dave Bradway Jr. Memorial, Tyler Wolf Memorial and the Gold Cup Race of Champions.
