Auto Racing Returns This Saturday

 

Marysville, CA – (3-16-22) …Three auto racing divisions converge this Saturday night at the Marysville Raceway.  Led by the popular winged 360 sprint cars, the racing is expected to be fast and furious around the lightning quick quarter-mile oval dirt track.  The IMCA Pepsi Sport Mods and the traveling Dwarf Cars are also geared to entertain the grandstand crowd.

 

Pit gate for the competitors opens at 3 PM. Front grandstand gate opens at 5 PM. Racing scheduled to start at 6 PM. Adult general admission is $15.00.  Seniors and Juniors are $13.00. Kids, ages 6 – 11, are $6.00.  Children 5 and under are FREE.  As always, parking is FREE for the fans.

Three drivers sit atop the winged 360 sprint car standings.  Chico’s Casey Schmitz, Auburn’s Andy Forsberg and West Sacramento’s Justyn Cox are all tied at 50-points. A solid 23-winged 360 sprint cars attended this past Saturday’s race.

 

For the first time in 20220, the IMCA Pepsi Sport Mods will get the chance to tackle the famed racing surface at Maryville Raceway.  The always exciting Sport Mods will look to thrill the crowd with their high-speed racing and precise driving style.

 

The Dwarf Cars will add to the mix.  The traveling division usually brings well over 20 cars each time they attend a race at Marysville.
