H&H Trenching Fall Gold Fever Open Show

Marysville, CA (October 20, 2015) – After a successful 2015 campaign, the season is coming to a close with the end of the year spectacular sprint car open show Saturday night, October 24th, at Marysville Raceway. This final show is called the Fall Gold Fever 360 Sprint Car Open Show presented by H & H Trenching. Four sprint car divisions will make up the final night of big-time open wheel racing led by the popular 360 winged sprint cars, wingless sprints, economy sprints and Pro 4 sprints. Over 60 cars are expected to entertain the fans for one final time in 2015.

The pit gate will open at 3 P.M. while the front grandstand gate will open at 5 P.M. General grandstand admission to this event is $15.00 for adults, $13.00 for juniors, seniors and military with ID. Children, ages 6 to 11, are $6.00. Five and under are free.

The winner of the 30-lap winged 360 sprint car finale will net that team a cool $2,000.
It is yet to be determined if track champion Justin Sanders will be present. Sanders had a rough stretch this past weekend at the Trophy Cup in Tulare. Chasing Sanders will be current Civil War point leader Andy Forsberg of Auburn. Forsberg is fresh off his second Fall Nationals championship and looks to end out his season on a high note. Joining those two will be Grass Valley’s Jeremy Burt, who is now driving the championship #18 sprint car that Sanders drove all season, Korey and Kevin Lovell of Yuba City and Chico’s Brad Bumgarner. Nearly 25 different drivers are expected to attend this season ending race. Sean Becker will be piloting the Dan Manhoff #35. Chico’s Jonathan Allard and Roseville’s Colby Copeland have each inquired about racing the event.

The wingless sprints are guaranteed a $750 pay day for the night’s main event winner regardless of car count. Timmy Sherman Jr. is fresh off his consecutive track championships and will look to put an exclamation point on his season with a big win. Locals Josh Vieira, Misty Castleberry, Aaron Gustin, Kyle Standley and Brett Youngman all have the shot to get the win.

Economy sprint cars will have the chance to showcase their skills during a night dedicated to sprint car fans. Cameron Haney, Wyatt Brown, Brandon Powell and Jeff Macedo will battle it out for the win. A strong field of cars should be attending.

The Pro 4 Sprints are led by now multi-champion Misty Castleberry. Club president Tim McLaughlin and Matt Beardslee are some of the tough competitors that will try to knock Castleberry out of the top spot.

This season finale race will feature family fun, great food and lots of close high speed racing. For more information please visit www.marysvilleraceway.com
