All Star Modified Tour Hits Marysville This Saturday

Marysville, CA (May 21, 2019) – For one night only, the travelling IMCA All Star Modified Tour will attack the Marysville Raceway this Saturday night, May 25th. Legendary dirt modified drivers like Marysville’s Ryan McDaniel, Yuba City’s Duane Cleveland, Martinez’s Nick DeCarlo and Oakley’s Kellen Chadwick are all scheduled to race this Saturday night and try to win the $1,000 main event.
Joining the IMCA All Star Mods is the IMCA Sport Mods and the Crate Sprints. Three action packed divisions on one night.
The pit gate will open at 3 PM while the front grandstand gate opens at 5 PM.
Adult general admission is $13.00 into the grandstands. Seniors, juniors and Military with ID are just $11.00 each. Kids, six to eleven years old, are $6.00. Children five and under are FREE.
The IMCA All Star Modified Tour hits the track at Marysville Raceway for the first time in 2019. The series will have two races at Ocean Speedway and once at Calistoga later this year. Considering this is the only appearance of the year in our area, it is highly recommended that the fans of dirt modified racing come out and support this event. These, what is considered A- Mod drivers in the IMCA world, can not compete in the IMCA Sport Mods. So the uniqueness of seeing these drivers for one night only is very intriguing.
Keith Brown and Guy Ahlwardt leads the charge in the Pepsi IMCA Sport Mods this Saturday night. Both drivers are tied at the top of the weekly Marysville point series with 77 points. Todd Cooper is directly behind those two with 76 points. Brown and Cooper each have one win a piece. Ahlwardt will be looking to add his name to the winners list.
Darren Johnson is three for three this season at Marysville. Johnson has won every Crate Sprint point show main event in 2019. Yet, Brett Youngman is only four points back of Johnson for the championship. Can Youngman find a way to beat Johnson? Or will a new driver emerge and take the checkered flag? They only way to find out is to come this Saturday night.
