Auto Racing Returns Saturday Night to Marysville Raceway

Marysville, CA (May 7, 2019) – After some time off, the Saturday night Championship point auto racing returns to the action track of the West, Marysville Raceway, with an enthralling night of racing scheduled for May 8th. As a bonus, the Raceway is proud to offer a Mother’s Day discount for the grandstands. This Saturday night, all moms in attendance will be admitted for just $9.00. What a deal. Take dear mom out to the race track and enjoy some live entertainment and great food.
The pit gate will open at 3 PM while the front grandstand gate opens at 5 PM. Race cars on the track at 6 PM.
Adult admission into the grandstands is $13.00. Mother’s Day special just $9.00. Juniors, seniors and military with ID are just $11.00. Kids 6-11 are $6 and five and under are FREE. A family pass for $40 gets two adults and two juniors or three kids 11 and under into the grandstands. As always, parking is FREE.
Point race No. 7 will feature three great divisions led by the Hobby Stocks, Dwarf Cars and winged 360 Sprint Cars.
Cherokee’s Kyle Allen is leading the point standings in the Hobby Stock division. Allen scored the opening night win. His competition is fast and furious led by Kyle Cheney and Devin Ryan. The Hobby Stocks are featuring large car counts and top-notch drivers all vying for racing glory.
The story of the winged 360 sprint car division is still this, can anyone stop Michael Ing? This kid is on fire at Marysville capturing all three main event wins and leads the points by 15-points over Brent Bjork. It will be worth the price of admission just to see if Ing can keep it up, or will another driver/team rise to the occasion?
The traveling Dwarf Cars are one of the most popular classes around. They are fast, well organized and put on a great show! Traditionally, around 20 competitors show up for a race at Marysville. The division is so strong that any number of drivers can win on any given night.
We hope to see you and your mom at the races this Saturday night.
