Schedule Release For 2021

Schedule Release For 2021

(Marysville CA 1/25/2021) …The tradition of grassroots dirt track motorsports continues at the Marysville Raceway in 2021.  After a limited and compromised 2020 season due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Raceway is pleased to announce a full slate of auto racing and entertainment.  We are optimistic about this upcoming season but want to remind our competitors and fans that as we continue to navigate these uncharted waters, the schedule is subject to change on a weekly basis.  Safety of all those who participate at Marysville Raceway is always our number one concern.

The season is set to kick off with the annual Sherm and Loree Toller Memorial on February 27th.  This race is in honor of the Toller family who dedicated most of their lives to the excitement of dirt track racing.  Sherm was a longtime announcer and Loree worked as the track’s scorekeeper.  Winged 360 sprint cars, wingless sprints and crate sprints are scheduled.

March 13th will kick off the first of 15 scheduled championship point shows.  Once again, the mainstays of weekly racing include the Hobby Stocks, IMCA Pepsi Sport Modifieds, 360-Winged Sprint Cars, Crate Sprints and Limited Late Models.

Something new and exciting is planned on May 30th as this date marks the first appearance of the popular traveling Sprint Car Challenge Tour.  The (SCCT) has been penciled in to honor the late and great and former track promoters Mel and Marlyn Hall.  The IMCA Pepsi Sport Mods will join the event.

A wide range of entertainment for the good people of Yuba Sutter area begins with a Destruction Derby planned for February 20th.  Two concerts planned by Era of EDM are scheduled for March 27th and April 24th.  On June 18th and 19th, the ground pounding, high flying, in your face excitement of Monster Trucks return to the Marysville Raceway.

July 2nd the Raceway will host their annual Freedom Fireworks in tribute to our July 4th celebration.  The event will feature auto racing, good food and a huge aerial firework display following the races.

The Popular Dwarf Car Nationals returns for another three-day event starting on September 23rd, 24th and 25th.

The season is slated to conclude on October 30th with the tribute to Paul Hawes Memorial Sprint Car Spooktacular.

Daily track rentals are open, but a new 3-hour program has also been introduced to give more teams the chance to get some track time.
