Three Racing Divisions Set to Duel This Saturday Night

 

Marysville, CA – (7-2-22) …The sights and sounds of championship racing resumes this Saturday night, July 9th, with point race No. 12. The exciting and entertaining winged sprint cars, Dwarf Cars, and IMCA Sport Mods are set to entertain the loyal fans at Marysville Raceway. Expectations are huge as the stars and cars of dirt track racing are ready to sling some mud and showcase their driving talents.

 

The racing hero’s will be out in full force this Saturday led by Sacramento’s Bobby Butler who leads the winged 360 sprint car charge into this weekend’s race. Butler has been solid all season and enjoys a 12-point cushion over Michael Wasina. The sprint car division has been fast and furious this season. Electrifying main events under the bright LED lights are a can’t miss show.

 

Front gate is scheduled to open at 5 PM. Pit gate will open at 3 PM. Racing is scheduled to start around 6 :30 PM. Adult ticket price is $15.00 (16-61), junior/seniors/military discount with card $13.00, kids $6.00 (3-11) and children 5 and under are FREE. As always, parking is FREE at Marysville Raceway. Jimmy Ford continues to show the way in the IMCA Sport Mod division. Ford holds an 18-point advantage over Shaun Merritt. Both drivers just finished in the top five at the most recent main event. This night marks the eighth point race of the season for these die-hard racers.

 

The traveling Nor Cal Dwarf Cars are ready to tackle the action track of the west again. This will be their final test and tune before the Dwarf Car Nationals held at the end of September at Marysville Raceway. The always entertaining group of drivers are set to mix it up again at one of their favorite stomping grounds.
