Auto Racing Resumes This Saturday Night

MARYSVILLE, Calif., April 30, 2025…Championship auto racing resumes this Saturday night, May 3rd, at the famed Marysville Raceway. Three exciting divisions will sling mud at the action track of the West. The field is led by the winged 360 sprint cars. The highly anticipated return of Crate Sprints and Dwarf Cars will add more drama and excitement to the nights racing action. It will be a show that you do not want to miss.

Pit gate is slated to open at 3pm. Front gate will open at 5pm. Adult general admission is $18 (ages 16-61), Juniors and Seniors $16 (ages 12-15 / 62+), and kids are $8 (ages 6-11). Military with ID card is $16. Children 5 and under are FREE. Parking is also FREE for grandstand attendees.
Hot laps will begin at 5:15pm. Racing is slated to begin at 6pm. These times are pushed up from previous seasons.

Jake Haulot leads the charge when it comes to winged 360 sprint car racing. He holds a slim three-point edge over former track champion Billy Wallace. Chasing them is a local favorite named William Fielding who sits in third. Nick Larsen is poised to find victory lane soon and holds down the fourth spot. Justin Henry rounds out the top five.

Only five-points separate the top three in the Crate Sprint division. Matthew Kaiser leads with 138 points. Caleb Ingle holds the second spot with 135 total points. Jacob Johnson sits third with 133 points. Derek Droivold is in fourth with 121 points. Rounding out the top five is Jason Ballantine with 113 points. Excited to see the Crate Sprints back at their home track this weekend. The talent in this division from top to bottom may be the best on the West Coast.

Dwarf Cars will return for a second time this Saturday night. Dylan Shrum will look to repeat as the 20-lap main event winner on April 5th. In fact, the Shrum’s finished first, second, and third in that race. Following Dylan was Brenden and Cody. Following Shrum’s it was Dan Geil and Jeremy Blackshere. A total of 15 Dwarfs Cars competed back in April.
