Marysville Raceway Set to Host Point Race No. 7
MARYSVILLE, Calif., May 14, 2025…This Saturday night, May 17, the bright lights will shine down upon the drivers competing at the Marysville Raceway. Three divisions will lead the charge on Saturday night. The 360 sprint cars, Hobby Stocks, and IMCA Sport Mods are set to continue their season long championship battles.
Pit gate is slated to open at 3pm. Front gate will open at 5pm. Adult general admission is $18 (ages 16-61), Juniors and Seniors $16 (ages 12-15 / 62+), and kids are $8 (ages 6-11). Military with ID card is $16. Children 5 and under are FREE. Parking is also FREE for grandstand attendees.
Hot laps will begin at 5:15pm. Racing is slated to begin at 6pm. These times are pushed up from previous seasons.
There is a new leader atop the winged 360 sprint car division. Grass Valley’s Billy Wallace holds a slim one-point edge over Jake Haulot. Chasing them in third is Nick Larsen. Larsen is only 18-points back of Wallace. Carson Hall and William Fielding round out the top five.
Toby Merrifield holds the top spot in the Hobby Stock division. Merrifield has a three-point lead over Jason Clayton. Last year’s champion, Kyle Cheney, is only six points back of Merrifield. James East and Devin Koranda round out the top five.
Mark Garner is holding onto a three-point edge over former track champion Jimmy Ford. Many good drivers are chasing those two. Tyler Rodgers, Shaun Merritt, and Mike Merritt are all within striking distance of the top two.
Exciting, grass roots dirt track racing is on display this Saturday night.
