Crate Sprints Take Center Stage This Saturday at Marysville Raceway
MARYSVILLE, Calif., June 23, 2025…This Saturday night, June 28th, Marysville Raceway will host three different divisions of racecars led by the Crate Sprints, Dwarf Cars, and the winged 360 sprints. A full field of cars are expected to entertain the local fans this Saturday.
A lot of emphasis is usually placed on the winged 360 sprint car division. Yet, this weekend, Crate Sprints should be the focal point. Jacob Johnson and Caleb Ingle will continue their battle this Saturday night, in what is shaping up to be an epic charge to the finish. Each driver has amassed 272 total points. Their nearest competitor is David Derr Jr., some 41 points behind. With that said, the battle for third on down is also incredible. Just 16-points now separates third through eight in the standings. This season, 22 different drivers have earned points. After this Saturday night, only four more championship races are left on the 2025 schedule.
Pit gate is slated to open at 3pm. Front gate will open at 5pm. Adult general admission is $18 (ages 16-61), Juniors and Seniors $16 (ages 12-15 / 62+), and kids are $8 (ages 6-11). Military with ID card is $16. Children 5 and under are FREE. Parking is also FREE for grandstand attendees. Hot laps will begin at 6pm. Racing is slated to begin at 7pm.
Grass Valley’s Billy Wallace continues to lead the way in the winged 360 sprint car division. Chasing Wallace is Oroville’s Nick Larsen. The two top drivers are separated by 14 points. At this point, these two seem to be the only likely two who will battle for the track title. Sitting in third and whopping 56 points back is Grass Valley’s Carson Hall. Behind Hall is Cotati’s Jake Haulot who is 37 points back. Grass Valley’s Pat Harvey sits in the fifth position.
The popular Nor Cal Dwarf cars return for another night of fast and furious racing. This group always brings an enthusiastic bunch of drivers who thrill the grandstands fans with close racing. This group returns on July 26th. Yet the grand daddy of them all is the Marysville Raceway Dwarf Car Nationals set for September 19th and 20th. They also host a practice night on Thursday, September 18th.
Exciting, grass roots dirt track racing is on display this Saturday night.
