July 3rd Races are Still a Go! Post Race Fireworks Show Canceled

RACES ARE STILL ON THURSDAY JULY 3rd at MARYSVILLE RACEWAY
MARYSVILLE, Calif., July 2, 2025… The scheduled Thursday night, July 3rd, dirt track championship auto racing is still a go at Marysville Raceway. Unfortunately, as with other surrounding racetracks and communities, the explosion at a facility near Esparto in Yolo County on Tuesday destroyed the fireworks that were headed to our track. Marysville Raceway has decided to still host a night of family fun with fast-paced cars but without the post-race fireworks. We extend our condolences to those affected by this explosion and the families of the seven people still missing.
There is always a slight increase in pricing for the fireworks show on July 3rd. With the fireworks not available, all tickets that were bought online will receive either $2.00 refund for the adults, or $1.00 refund for the juniors and seniors’ price. These ticket prices are the same as any weekly point show. Patrons who wish to not come to the event can also get a full refund by contacting EventSprout, our online ticketing company, through the confirmation email they received once they purchased the original ticket. Kids tickets (ages 6-11) at the front gate are just $8.00. Children 5 and under are FREE.
Marysville Raceway will host three divisions of cars and stars Thursday, July 3rd. Led by the powerful winged 360 sprint cars, IMCA Sport Mods, and Hobby Stocks, Thursday show is geared towards entertaining the entire family.
The pit gate is slated to open at 3pm for the competitors. The front grandstand gate will open at 5pm. Hot laps will begin at 6pm. Racing is slated to begin at 7pm. Adult ticket prices are $18 (ages 16-61) Juniors and Seniors (ages 12-15 / 62+) are $16.00.
