Kids Bike Night Next Up at Marysville Raceway

Kids Bike Night This Saturday at Marysville Raceway
MARYSVILLE, Calif., July 29, 2025…The annual Kids Bike Night is set for this Saturday, August 2nd. Kids, 11 and under, will be admitted FREE. Each kid will also receive a coupon for a free hot dog and a small soda. Reminder to parents, bring your children’s bike and helmet if they are 11 and under, so they can safely compete during intermission on the front stretch. Drivers in the pit area are encouraged to come out and help hand out the awards to the youngsters. Kids 11 and under will also be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a free bike and helmet.
Racing on the track will be fast and furious featuring the winged 360 sprints, IMCA Sport Mods, Hobby Stocks and Crate Sprints. Following this Saturday night, Marysville Raceway will take an extended break and return on August 30th.
Pit gate is slated to open at 3pm. Front gate will open at 5pm. Adult general admission is $18 (ages 16-61), Juniors and Seniors $16 (ages 12-15 / 62+), and kids (ages 11 and under) are FREE. Military with ID card is $16. Parking is also FREE for grandstand attendees. Hot laps will begin at 6pm. Racing is slated to begin at 7pm.
There is a new sheriff in town. Oroville’s Nick Larsen sits atop the 360 sprint car point standings. Larsen finished second in the most recent race and holds a two-point edge over Billy Wallace. Carson Hall is currently third in points. He is 51-points behind Larsen.
The Crate Sprints continue to be a focal point at the raceway. Jacob Johnson still holds a two-point edge over Caleb Ingle. Deep behind them in third is David Derr Jr. Misty Castleberry has climbed the charts and is back in the fourth spot. KC Carpenter rounds out the top five.
Mark Garner increased his point lead recently. Garner holds a seven-point lead over Jimmy Ford. Shaun Merritt is third in the points. Mike Merritt holds down the fourth spot. The IMCA Sport Mods are down to their final two races including tonight. Their final night is August 30th.
Kyle Cheney continues to lead the championship chase in the Hobby Stock division. He is 32-points ahead of Toby Merrifield. Jason Clayton fell to third but just one point back of Merrifield. Ryan Smith sits comfortably in fourth. Willy King rounds out the top five.
Exciting, grass roots dirt track racing is on display this Saturday night.
