IMCA Sport Mod Championship This Saturday

Championship Night for IMCA Sport Mods
MARYSVILLE, Calif., Aug 26, 2025…This Saturday night, August 30th, the bright lights will shine down upon the drivers competing at the Marysville Raceway. The lights will be shining the brightest on the IMCA Sport Mods. This Saturday will mark the division’s final championship point race of the year. Antioch’s Mark Garner leads Yuba City’s Jimmy Ford by six points. This tight battle will not be decided until the final lap has been completed on the track.
Pit gate is slated to open at 3pm. Front gate will open at 5pm. Adult general admission is $18 (ages 16-61), Juniors and Seniors $16 (ages 12-15 / 62+), and kids are $8 (ages 6-11). Military with ID card is $16. Children 5 and under are FREE. Parking is also FREE for grandstand attendees.
The 360 sprint car championship battle continues this Saturday night. This will be the second to last race of their season. Oroville’s Nick Larson leads Grass Valley’s Billy Wallace by just eight points. Carson Hall sits in the third spot.
Winged Crate sprint cars are also on the ticket. Caleb Ingle is back on top of the points. He leads Jacob Johnson by just three points.
The exciting part of this Saturday night is that every time these above-mentioned drivers hit the track they need to perform at their best. Every point matters.
Exciting, grass roots dirt track racing is on display this Saturday night.
