Track or Treat Spooktacular Race Honoring Paul Hawes This Saturday

MARYSVILLE, Calif., October 21, 2025…Marysville Raceway will host the annual Paul Hawes Memorial Spooktacular this Saturday night, October 25. This race pays tribute to former Marysville Raceway promoter Paul Hawes. With generous sponsorship from his son Jeremy, this open wheel themed show will attract a lot of the local stars on dirt.

During intermission, the Raceway will bring out many of the drivers to the front stretch and pass out candy to the kids in attendance. The Marysville Raceway staff encourages the kids to wear their Halloween costumes to the track. These kids will get the chance to walk on the front stretch and participate in an early trick or treating activity with family and friends. Drivers, teams, and car owners are encouraged to bring candy to help support the “Track n Trick.”

Four open wheel divisions are scheduled to race Saturday night. Led by the high flying and mud slinging winged 360 sprint cars, fans will get one final chance to see these stars shine. Wingless Sprints are a fan favorite at Marysville Raceway. A large car count is expected. The local Winged Crate Sprints are set to rock and roll on Saturday night. This division is loaded with local stars. The Lightning Sprints always show their strength in numbers when attending this event.

Marysville Raceway is honored to support the Hawes family this Saturday night. Thanks to Paul’s son Jeremy and H&H Trenching, a large amount of sponsorship money will be distributed to many of the top finishing drivers this Saturday night. A huge $2,500 payday to the winner of the winged sprint car 360 division with bonus money being added to the top finishing drivers. Even the Winged Crate Sprints will see a bump up to $500 for the for their win and extra money added to the top finishers.
