Celebrate Father’s Day Weekend at Marysville Raceway

Marysville, CA (June 11, 2019) – Four big-time auto racing divisions will entertain the fans this Saturday night at Marysville Raceway. Led by the IMCA Pepsi Sport Mods, this is a can’t miss show. Winged 360 sprint cars, Crate Sprints and Super Stocks will pave the way to an entertaining Saturday night. As a bonus, the Raceway is proud to offer a Father’s Day discount for the grandstands. This Saturday night, all dads in attendance will be admitted for just $9.00. What a deal. Take dad out to the racetrack and enjoy some live entertainment and great food.
The pit gate will open at 3 PM while the front grandstand gate opens at 5 PM. Race cars on the track at 6 PM.
Adult admission into the grandstands is $13.00. Father’s Day special just $9.00. Juniors, seniors and military with ID are just $11.00. Kids 6-11 are $6 and five and under are FREE. A family pass for $40 gets two adults and two juniors or three kids 11 and under into the grandstands. As always, parking is FREE.
Chico’s Michael Ing is on a mission. Ing led all 25-laps to win his fourth main event of the season last Saturday night. To say he has been the dominate car would be an understatement. With the four wins, he holds a 14-point edge over Yuba City’s Korey Lovell.
Darren Johnson and Brett Youngman share the points lead in the Crate Sprint Car division. Each have 191-points. Mike Sayre, Kiely Ricardo and Cameron Haney Jr. sit third through fifth and are each separated by only one-point.
Todd Cooper continues to hold a firm grip on the point lead in the IMCA Pepsi Sport Mod division. Cooper is 17-points in front of two-time feature winner this season, Andrew Peckham. This division is by far the most competitive. The top eight in points are only separated by 34-points.
Matt Micheli scored his second win of the year and holds an eight-point edge over Brent Lawrence and Richard Vander Ploeg in the Super Stocks.
We hope to see you and your dad at the races this Saturday night.
