Where can I purchase tickets?
SDS-Click the ticket button on our mobile friendly website for online ticket sales.  They are sold each event at the track beginning when the front gate opens.  Times vary so check our website for details.  Gold Cup Race of Champions reserved tickets are only sold through our business office 9 to 4 Monday through Thursday.  Only 4 day tickets are sold Oct.

until August 15, when single day tickets go on sale. Call 530-350-7275 or email info@silverdollarspeedway.com.

What time do the gates open and when does racing start.
SDS-Weekly racing front gates open at 6 PM.  Racing starts at 7. Times vary for special events but gates mostly open at 5 PM with racing at 6:30.

The weekly pit gate opens at 4 PM.  Special events vary.  Racing of over by 11PM.

MR-Front gates open at 5 PM.  Racing starts at 6:30.  Pit gate opens at 3 PM except practice days can vary.  Racing is over by 11PM.

 

Is camping available at the track?
SDS-We love RVers! Lots of camping space available and the recent addition of a new camp area has added 20 full service, full hookup sites, with 50 amp power service.  300 other sites are on campus as well, most with services, but hookups can vary.  Camping is done on a first come basis for the bulk of the season with a fee of $35 per night.  The Gold Cup Race of Champions has reserved camping for the week of Gold Cup.  First come camping is available as well for single day visitors.  The week is $200.

Reserved Gold Cup camping is only sold through are track business office 9 to 4 Monday to Thursday at 530-350-7275 or email to info@silverdollarspeedway.com.  Camping is not allowed in the pit area.

MR-Camping is allowed however no hookups are available.  Most campers park along the outside of the pit fence bordering the main parking lot.  Again, pit camping is not allowed.  A word of caution for those camping.

Marysville Raceway shares a parking lot with the adjacent Marysville Flea Market where activities begin very early on Sunday morning.  While problems are minimum the early sounds of bargain shoppers can be disturbing.

 

What types of Food and Drink are served at the Speedway.
SDS and MR-A full menu of fresh stadium style food is served with emphasis on local products and preparation.  Many or the items offered at the speedway are grown in the area.  A variety of soft drinks, water, ice tea, lemonade, and some seasonal drinks are offered along with hot chocolate and coffee.  The bar menu includes a great cross section of Coors beers and beer products along with the famous locally brewed Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Snacks and sweats are available for the children as well.

 

Do you have handicap accommodations?
SDS and MR-Plenty of handicap parking is available and clearly marked requiring a standard California disabled placard.  Inside the speedway, adequate access ramps are available and ample wheelchair seating is available.

 

Is there an ATM or do you accept Debit cards?
SDS and MR-Like most electronic devices ATM’s can be challenging.  Either and ATM of ATM cash services are available.  Either will be marked accordingly and any food or drink booth can direct you to the appropriate area.  Debit cards may be used at the front gate ticket window or speedway merchandise center.  Either can also provide cash back to the patron.

Food and drink windows only accept cash.

 

What can I bring or not bring to the speedway?
SDS and MR-Bring a cushion to sit on, and a jacket spring and fall.  Don’t bring animals, weapons, alcohol, glass, coolers, fireworks, or any drug related items.  No outside food or drink are allowed except one unopened water bottle per customer.

 

Will my Cell phone work at the Speedway?
SDS and MR-Phone service has been good at the speedway.  However, wireless service has not been so good.  The speedway is not located in the mecca of wireless service areas.

 

Do you have Speedway merchandise available?
SDS and MR-Shop till you drop.  A huge selection of shirts, sweatshirts, hats, gadgets, flags, cars, trucks, mugs, history books and more can be purchased from the Speedway Novelty center.  In fact, it makes shopping easy for those who are hard to shop for.  Hardly anybody would turn down a speedway shirt or a stylish ladies tank top when it comes to fashion.  A wide variety of kids items keeps the youngsters interested.

 

Can I meet a driver or sit in a car?
SDS and MR-Of course you can.  Short track auto racing is one of the only sports you can actually meet the athletes. For the vastly interested, a pit pass can be purchased for the entire night of getting close up and personal.  Anybody over 18 is allowed in the pits.  Age limits do not apply after the races when the pits are opened up for fans to visit, get autographs, and check out the race cars.  It is fun the whole family can enjoy.
