Dollar Night This Saturday at Marysville Raceway

Marysville, CA (July 6, 2017) – This Saturday night, at Marysville Raceway, we are encouraging people to take advantage of an unprecedented special savings offered by promoter Dennis Gage. All grandstand fans will be admitted for just ONE DOLLAR. This is not a misprint, $1.00 is the cost for each person entering the main grandstands this Saturday night to watch a full night’s worth of racing at Marysville Raceway. Led by the winged 360 sprint cars, hobby stocks, super stocks, street stocks and economy sprints, this five-division night will entertain while not putting a dent into the wallet.

Front grandstand gate will open at 5 PM. The pit gate for the competitors will open at 3 PM. Racing is scheduled to begin around 6:30 PM. More information can be found at www.marysvilleraceway.com

Marysville’s Jeremy Hawes continues to lead the point championship. While Sutter’s Tyler Seavey has won the previous two point races at Marysville, Hawes continues to stay consistent. Reno’s Mike Monahan, Woodland’s Peter Paulson and Auburns’ Jimmy Steward are ready to get back into the mix. The husband/wife tandem of Heath and Raquel Hall out of Oroville are sitting sixth and seventh in the points.

Adam Ermolenko has been the dominant driver this year during the Economy Winged sprint car division. Yet, this Saturday it is being reported the reigning track champion Wyatt Brown is set to return. These two should put on a good show. Cameron Haney Jr., Jaylon Deas amd Chad Thompson add credible race cars to the field.

James Castleberry only leads Mike Walko by a narrow seven points. Rod Oliver is hanging around at just 18-points back. These three have been a solid threesome at Marysville this year.

It is time to welcome back the Hobby Stocks. It has been nearly two months since the last time we saw point leader Mel Byers battling Cy Cooper, Matt Magenheimer and Anthony Doubledee for bragging rights. This year the Hobby Stocks have seen a resurgence with 24 different drivers earning championship points.

The Street Stocks are the fifth division on the docket. This is a non-points, money only event.
