Western States Dwarf Car Association Nationals at Marysville Raceway
Marysville, CA – (9-21-22) …Marysville Raceway is the place to be this Friday and Saturday night, September 23 and 24, as we host the popular Western States Dwarf Car Association Nationals. A large contingent of Dwarf Cars teams will travel from all over the Western United States and converge at the famed quarter-mile oval. The WSDCA National Series features three different divisions including Pro, Veteran, and Sportsman classes. In all, nearly 100 different drivers usually take to the track over the two nights of spectacular racing.
The pit gate will be open at 3 PM both days. Front grandstand for spectators will open at 5 PM both days. Racing starts at 6:30 PM each night. Friday and Saturday night the adult tickets are $15.00 (16-61), Seniors (62+) and Juniors (12-15) are $13.00, kids ages (6-11) are $6.00. Children five and under are FREE. Dwarf Car racing is fast and furious. The competition is second to none when these cars and stars hit the dirt track oval. Fans will see a plethora of racing both nights. On Saturday night, the main events are as good as it gets.
The concessions and beer booth will be open both nights. Novelty booth is open on Saturday night only.
Thursday night the Raceway will host a practice session for the Dwarf Cars who are already in attendance.
The Raceway will host two final events in October. On October 22 the annual Taxicab Open will hit the speedway. This stock car themed event is popular with the locals. Then on October 29, the Paul Hawes Memorial Sprint Car Spooktacular will complete the season. A generous donation from H & H Trenching will add $2,000 extra dollars to the overall purse that night.
