The Monsters Are Coming to Marysville

(Marysville, CA 4/24/2023) The high flying, earth rattling Malicious Monster Trucks invade the World-Famous Marysville Raceway on Friday and Saturday nights, April 28 and 29. The action-packed event takes place in the main grandstand area at Marysville Raceway in Marysville starting at 7 pm each night. Grandstand gates will open, and ticket sales begin at 5 pm both nights.
Headlining the group of talented Monster Trucks will be Rockstar. Rockstar is driven by the husband/wife team that operate Straight Up Racing, Bill, and Lorna Payne. Years of experience and family rivalry make Rockstar a favorite to win the competition. Rockstar will be joined by many more stars of the Malicious Monster Truck Tour including the California Kid and Identity Theft.
Once inside the grandstand area, the overall experience will include tasty food items and sweet treats to satisfy everyone’s tastebuds. The A Ke Taco Truck will also be there both nights to serve up their amazing food. A beer garden is located right behind the main grandstands for the adults who need a cool, refreshing drink. Anyone interested in spending the night in our area, the Bonanza Inn & Suites in Yuba City is the perfect spot to stay.
A focal point of entertainment throughout the night will be local Tuff Trucks and Quad Wars. These trucks and quads have been specially prepared to navigate obstacles that are placed on the Raceway infield. Drivers are dedicated to making the best time with the best lap around the tricky course.
The 10,000 lb. giant monster trucks will compete in a series of race events, and freestyle entertainment. Plus, they will crush any car along the way. The alcohol burning aluminum supercharged engine produces instant power culminating in wheel stands and high-speed jumps. All wheel steering is the only savior in keeping them under control. But for safety’s sake every truck is equipped with a remote shut down switch should any irregularity occur.
A FREE pit party will start at 5:30 pm each night and conclude at 6:30 pm when fans will be part of the up close and personal pre-show activities. Photo opportunities and autographs are bountiful standing next to these giants. In addition, rides are available on a real monster truck before, at intermission, and after the show is over.

Advance tickets are currently on sale through the www.marysvilleraceway.com. Friday online tickets have been discounted to $18 (16 +) for adults, $14 (12-15) for juniors, and $8 (3-11) for kids. Two and under are free. Saturday online tickets are $20 for adults, $16 for juniors, and $8 for kids. Gate prices on the day of the event are $2 more.
