Races Still Planned for Saturday, With a Twist

Friday Night Update: 3/29/24 – 7:30pm
With the unfortunate cancelations of other dirt tracks in Northen California, Promoter Dennis Gage is still holding out hope that Marysville Raceway can host racing tomorrow night. Kids 11 and Under are FREE, Easter Egg Hunt at track.
With that said, Gage is even giving local teams that have suffered multiple rain outs this year, the chance to race tomorrow.
So here is the deal, he if offereing a non-points pop-up race for winged 360 sprint cars, hobby stocks, and imca sport mods to race tomorrow night. He knows these three are not on the original schedule, he knows it is a risk, but he is offering the oppurtunity to race. These three classes will be added to the already scheduled Crate Sprints, and Limited Late Models. So five divisions total tomorrow.
The three added divisions will pay the normal purse that is offered as if it were a point show.
Depending on the amount of rain that falls tonight, Dennis will be at the track early tomorrow to give a final decision. This means, while we are officially spreading the word we want to race tomorrow, the FINAL Decision if we can race, will come by 10am or earlier. Please check back in tomorrow on FACEBOOK to get the official word.
Key words; normal pay, non points (360 sprints, Hobby Stocks, IMCA Sport Mods), pop up race, not official until 10am tomorrow, added three divisions, 360 sprints, Hobby’s, Sport Mods. Crate Sprints (point show because already scheduled) More Info tomorrow 10am with pit gate and front gate times.
